WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!

SPRING 2025 Registration Is HERE! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!

Register online with the link below or you can register in person at the park for the Spring 2025 SEASON.

In Person Registration Dates: Coming Soon 

Online Registration Dates: January 1st 2025 - January 24th 2025
 

  • Location: Semmes Girls Softball Concession Stand, 10000 Blackwell Nursery Rd, Semmes, AL 36575
  • Eligible: Girls Ages 4-18 (Age as of September 1st of current year) 
  • Divisions: 6U (T-Ball & Coach Pitch), 8U (Coach Pitch), 10U, 13U, 15U/18U
  • Cost: Spring 2025: 1st Child = $130.00 (Discounts available for multiple siblings - 2nd Child $120.00 - 3rd or more $110.00) *Fee includes a basic jersey

**All Players will need to provide a copy of their Birth Certificate at registration or upload one during online registration. 

We accept Cash, Check, and Credit Cards at the park.  For in person registrations using a credit card, a transaction fee of $5 will be added. Our online payment processor charges $5.47 Please make checks out to Semmes Girls Softball. There will be a $25.00 fee for any returned checks

Player Evaluations and Important Dates:

After registering, you will need to bring your player to evaluations if they have not been protected by a coach/team.  Evaluations are held at the park on the following dates:

  • ALL AGE DIVISIONS WILL HAVE EVALUATIONS ON: FEBRUARY1ST
  • 6U SIGN-IN @ 11:30a, EVALUATIONS/DRAFTS: 12:00-1:00
  • 8U SIGN-IN @ 12:30p, EVALUATIONS/DRAFTS @ 1:00PM-2:00PM.
  • 10U SIGN-IN @ 1:30p, EVALUATIONS/DRAFTS @ 2:00PM-3:00PM.
  • 12U SIGN-IN @ 2:30, EVALUATIONS/DRAFTS @ 3:00PM-4:00PM.
  • 15U/18U SIGN-IN @ 3:30, EVALUATIONS/DRAFTS @ 4:00PM-5:00PM.

               **PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EARLY TO GET SIGNED IN AND WARMED UP**

Open Practice will begin on:

Team Practices begin- 2/03/2025

Opening Ceremonies for Spring- 03/10/2025

Games Begin-03/11/2025

Games are typically played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. 

A practice and game schedule will be provided by your Coach.  A full schedule will also be viewable on the schedule page.

*Equipment Required: *

Players will need a glove, cleats, a batting helmet with a face mask attached and a chin or neck strap, and a defensive fielder's face mask (defensive mask is required for all positions in 6U, 8U, and 10U; for the pitcher position in 13U, 15U, and 18U; and is highly recommended for every position in all age groups). A bat is also recommended but not required (Bats must be a fastpitch softball bat that has the USSSA 1.20 BPF logo)
